LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Goldenvoice has revealed to Coachella.com that the website has been hacked with the intruders gaining access to a range of sensitive personal information including full names, email addresses, phone numbers and birth dates.

According to Billboard, Goldenvoice said that the digital trespassers were unable to obtain access to passwords and that all "unauthorized third parties" have been blocked from further access.

Goldenvoice reported the security breach to law enforcement who are currently investigating the intrusion, Billboard said.

In a mail to account holders on the website obtained by Billboard, the promoter said: "be aware that you may be targeted by phishing emails sent from people impersonating Coachella personnel. Please remember that Coachella will never solicit personal information or account information from you via email. Please exercise caution if you receive any emails or phone calls that ask for such information, or direct you to websites where you are asked for personal or financial information."

Coachella.com accounts are independent from ticketing services for the event and are primarily used to individualize the festival experience for users through features such as customized lineups, wristband activations and access to community forums. – Staff Writers
